You can never go wrong with a classic blazer. I feel as though every woman needs the following blazers in their closets: 1 black, 1 white/navy/tan/grey, 1 striped or two toned, and 1 floral or bright colored solid. You will find that they go w/EVERYTHING you own!!!! When I first laid eyes on this vintage blazer I instantly thought of Kate Middleton! So obvi it was coming home with me. To play on this classic/vintage combination I added all vintage accessories.

Have a fabulous Wednesday!
One of the best trends this Spring, (in my opinion) is the pajama pant. A loose, often silk, straight leg, patterned pant that screams comfort. One thing I don’t wear as often as I would like are dress pants. A lot of this has to do with what I do for work so on the weekends or on an off day I try to spruce it up a bit.
*I have a similar pair of pants last seen here.*

Last Friday I introduced you to my friend Rebecca Turley from Nostalgic Boutique. (See my last look wearing the “Brooke” dress here.) When I met with Rebecca all the pieces I picked out from her collections were so different from one another. She has such a wide range for a Contemporary line. Today I am wearing the Morgan Skirt. This particular style of skirt is one of Rebecca’s best sellers and I can see why. I instantly fell in love with the material, pockets and length. I am not a big short skirt fan so that is important to me and I don’t have much of a defined waist so it is necessary that a waist definition exists. The material is thicker than cotton with a linen/tweed strength to it. I instantly pictured this skirt with tights and this hat. Completing my 60’s school girl inspired look.

TGIT loves! Where did the week go?! My goodness!!! I am mixing things up this week and doing Instagram Friday, instead of my usual Thursday!!! So stay tuned!!! Today’s outfit includes one of my absolute favorite wardrobe pieces. This striped shirt I found at a thrift store in Long Beach 4 years ago. It is from JCrew and I have worn it so much through every season. Here I paired it with these Free People highlighter yellow corduroy cut offs and Sperrys. Shorts and Sperrys will soon be a distant memory so I am trying to get in as much wear as possible before my favorite season hits!!

There is something about summer that just makes me want to only wear dresses. The light, feminine, airy, sweet look that a dress carries is ideal for a Summer day or night. Not to mention, they are so beyond easy when it comes to styling in the morning. You just throw it on, add some accessories and a bag and you’re off!! This dress is so easy breezy and comfortable. Even though I have had it forever, I believe it’s an oldie, but goodie!!! (below I wore this dress to San Diego’s “Opening Day” 2 years ago!)

Just another manic Monday!!! I can’t believe the weekend flew by as fast as it did. What did you guys get into? I spent the entire weekend working and with family. Yesterday I did the rounds of spending time with my two mama’s. (Mine and Jaimesons’s) These are a few pics he snapped really quick before church at my parents house.
