Somewhere along the line I became obsessed with animal printed blouses. No not leopard, snakeskin, or python, I am talking little mini animals all over a solid colored blouse. This parrot blouse has been on constant rotation since I last wore it here! I think I have worn something from Old Navy every single day this week. Oooopsies.

One of the best things about my job is that I am free to wear whatever I want. I often layer because the morning and evening tend to be a bit chilly. There is no better staple for work attire for me other than a graphic tee and jeans. Oh and don’t get me started on these wedge sneakers. I have been living in them lately.
This shirt reads Zuma Beach which is located in Malibu, one of my favorite beach towns. I lived in San Diego for four years and would take frequent trips up to LA to visit friends and spend time in this gorgeous place. Living in Southern California it was really hard NOT to catch on to the whole laid back casual cool thing that everyone has going on. Cheers SD I miss your face!

Happy New Year!!! I hope everyone had a fabulous and safe evening. Many of you are off from work today and doing your fair share of vegging out, watching football and sinking into full recovery mode. I have a perfect casual New Years Day outfit for you…
It is no surprise I am a fan of flanel & plaid. I love casual button ups paired with boots, but in this case I opted for my new sneaks. I am surprised that it has taken me this long to get into sneakers. I live with a sneaker head (Dapper Fellow) and I am constantly around his unfathomable amount of sneaks. I got these beige Steve Madden wedges sneakers for Christmas and they’re so comfortable. Perfect if you’re out and about or if you just want to relax at home.
