If you are following along on my Instagram you may have noticed my recent San Diego wkd getaway. This Dr Pepper wall has been calling my name for an outfit shoot since I first staying at one of my bestie’s house, Whitney (who also writes the BEST cooking blog, Little Leopard Book). The building use to be an old bottling plant years ago and screams “Amy’s Vintage Closet” does it not. I love finding amazing walls and backdrops.

Today I am sharing with you a little shopping secret. A lot of people ask me where I get things from or where I like to shop and truly the answer is everywhere. I browse Costco once a week to see if they happened to get in some article of clothing that I would like. One of my favorite places to find unique and one of a kind pieces of jewelry is World Market. I discovered this gem while living in downtown San Diego. There was one across the street from my condo and I found myself wondering in there looking for the obvious, home items. I had no idea they had a huge accessories area. They also always have sales. Trust me on this one, World Market, check it out!

It is hard to believe how quickly January came and went. Like usual, it was a busy month for me. I celebrated the New Year with a small gathering at my house, took full advantage of several brunches with the ladies, and dyed my hair back to dark. I attended a 1920’s themed party, had a fab photoshoot (coming soon) with the talented Maria, and of course swooped up some new goodies (see here here here and here)

I love when the seasons change because I get to re-discover my fabulous coat collection that gets ignored for the majority of the year. I picked up this vintage coat while living in San Diego a few years ago. Today I decided to play on the blue and black combo by adding this hounds tooth printed blouse.

I have been a sports fan since I was a little girl. Although, God never graced me with an unreal basketball talent, or swift softball moves I have always enjoyed watching, cheering and being at sporting events. I think of it similar to skiing…If you didn’t grow up doing it you probably aren’t going to take any interest in it later in life. I got this Topshop jersey t-shirt this summer, but I have been waiting to wear it with leggings. I am typically drawn towards effortlessly put together outfits. A simple shirt paired with sneakers, leggings and a bold statement necklace is the way to go for me in the Fall!! I introduce to you my Jersey girl look…
