What’s up DOT??!?

It’s just another manic Monday…I wish it was Sunday. No seriously I do wish it was Sunday.  I hope you had a good weekend.  I stayed busy with DIY’s and some good trash TV.  Every once in awhile I love a good dose of trash tv.  You know, like The Real Housewives of Miami, Silicon Valley Startups, and of course my favorite, the original mind numbing, trashy reality show, Keeping up with the Kardashians. I ran around and did errands with my mom on Saturday morning and this is when I stole borrowed her black and white polka sweater!  The striped shirt underneath is more of a tunic in length so when I added the sweater for a contrast I tucked the shirt under about 6 inches.  These pants are called The Rockstar Jean and I purchased these last year at Old Navy.  They pretty much have every color of the rainbow.  The fit of these pants ia very slim and almost jegging like.  I don’t really enjoy this part of them, but at the time they were one of the only red jean I could find so I get over it when I wear them! :) Plus who can say no to Red, Black and White together?

OH and remember last week when I asked for your help in voting for my family’s restaurant. I was overwhelmed by the amount of people who messaged me and responded almost instantly.  It means so much to me to know I have such awesome friends and bloggeristas out there on my team.  S0…..guess what? JIMMY AND JOES PIZZERIA WON!!! I could hardly contain myself as you may have seen on instagram here. This clearly made my weekend. I hope you have a fabulous day.

Polka Dot Deuces

My love for everything polka dots began in the mid 80’s and hasn’t stopped since.  I love how feminine they are.  I got these shorts a few years ago at a vintage shop in La Jolla and didn’t wear them for an entire year. Now I can’t seem to take them off.  I thought it would be fun to pair them with this Old Navy sweater I swooped up just before my Carrie Bradshaw Effect began.  It was a perfect casual, yet sophisticated combo.
