One of my favorite thing to do in the summer is to go to hotel pools in my own backyard. Scottsdale is home to many relaxing resorts and spas and they encourage residents to come dine, swim, drink, and stay at their properties. (*Travel tip and little known fact about AZ: The Summer months are very slow and rates are at an all time low so if you can stand the high temps it is a great time for a weekend getaway)
Today’s look was taken at the Saguaro Hotel. After a lovely day in the sun, we ended our afternoon with tacos and margs at the delicious restaurant inside the hotel called Distrito! Dapper Fellow and I have been here before on a date night, but never for Happy Hour. If you live in the valley or are in town visiting you MUST try this place out.

Have a great weekend!
Hello Lovelies! Oh how I have missed you. I got back from San Diego late last night and have been a busy busy bee ever since. Today’s outfit was thrown together before family dinner at my parents. Black and gold are such a go-to combo for me. Very clean and classy, but easily transformed into an edgy, unique look. I purchased this bodysuit/leotard last week at a vintage store and was eagerly awaiting it’s debut.

Move over skinny jeans, there is a new, more comfortable pant in town, The palazzo pant. This light weight, breezy cotton is such a great spring item for everyone’s wardrobe. It made it’s return (originally from the 1960’s) last spring and is here to stay this year as well. At first, I admit I wasn’t a fan of this item as I am smaller on the bottom than the top and felt that it made me look stumpy. A lot of last seasons looks were paired with flats and I noticed that by adding a simple wedge it really elongates the pant.
I decided to add this great vintage yellow blazer for a little bit more of a classic less boho look.
