Tropical Day Out

Living in Arizona, shorts, tropical, floral and denim are pretty much mandatory. Wait, did I say hats? I am a big fan of hats.  I feel like everything I put together has something to do with floral these days.  I don’t hate it.

Spring Florals

I love a good Chambray & Floral combo.  This is a perfect look for any Spring day.  I like wearing flats or sandals with skirts because it’s so much more comfortable.   I rarely dress up for work so I try and take full advantage of my days off where I can wear some of my skirts and dresses.  I love the cut of this Topshop skirt, perfect for walking around downtown at the Farmer’s Market and hitting up my favorite brunch spots around town.

Snakeskin & Denim

Double Denim has definitely evolved from the Canadian Tuxedo…While attending college in British Columbia I saw my fair share of bad double denim combos.  At the time I was not interested in attempting this look, but since have experimented with several different combos  (see my past DD looks here and here)

Colorful Layers

This is a perfect example of what you can find me in during most work days. Being a restaurant manager I have a lot of fashion limitations.  Mobility is a huge issue as I am constantly on the move so accessories (my fav part of an outfit) are often left out.  Layers are also essential because I am sort of like a menopausal woman getting hot and cold flashes by the hour.  My natural style is 100%  comfortable/laid back so I am always drawn to easy flats, skinnies, and a oversized sweater. A definite staple for me in the winter months. :)

Chambray & Sparkle

Hello my lovelies. How was your weekend? Dapper Fellow and I had a wonderful time in beautiful SD, but as usual in a blink of an eye it was over and we were heading home.  We went to visit one of my gf’s who was having a housewarming party.  She moved into this gorgeous high rise in “Little Italy” and that is where we spent most of our time. It was also a perfect background for OOTD pics! :) This Chambray shirt is a fall staple that everyone needs in their wardrobe.  It is easily transitional and you will wear it all the time!
