My main reason to encourage a great staycation starts with the pool life! I was on swim team at age 4 and never looked back. I love the fact that the Valley Ho offers two different pools for your convenience. The OH pool has a DJ at the pool and is very fun and lively, while the OHasis Pool serves as a quieter and relaxing alternative. Upon arrival we noticed that no one as at the OHasis Pool so we opted for rest and relaxation. It was easy to feel right at home.

Our second day at the resort happened to be on a Sunday. HVH offers Recovery Sunday’s where they offer several different packages to encourage guests to recover and relax. Sounds good to me! we ventured over to the other OH pool to relax in a cabana and their huge comfortable lounge chairs. It was a Sunday so it wasn’t crowded and we had such an amazing spread of fruit and veggies to enjoy between dips in the pool. If you ever get the chance to visit Scottsdale or are simply looking for a place to get away for the weekend I highly recommend Hotel Valley Ho. Thank you for such a memorable weekend and taking such good care of us. We will be back soon!

Last week it was my b-day and we stayed in town at The Hotel Valley Ho. Only 8 miles from our house, but it felt like we were somewhere else. If you haven’t noticed yet, from my Instagram I love a good staycation. We have some of the best resorts in the country so why not take advantage of them in your own city!
We were greeted with the warmest welcome basket and sweets! You guys check out this AMAZING Tower Suite. I took a video, click on the link: Hotel Valley Ho Suite
We decided to dine at their restaurant called, Zuzu for dinner. The modern, comfortable restaurant had a great variety of menu items. We had the Caesar Salad, Burrata, Cornish Hen, and Beef Stroganoff. I couldn’t decide which item I enjoyed the most. Every dish was incredible. The Burrata had every ingredient I am currently obsessed with, Heirloom Tomatoes, Arugula, w/grilled Levain Bread topped with Basil Pesto plus Balsamic drizzle.
Zuzu serves brunch inside and on the shaded patio with a Bloody Mary + Mimosa Bar open 9am-3pm. Cannot wait to try them next time for brunch. How cute is this patio?
After a satisfying dinner and an even better night’s sleep I headed to the VH Spa for Vitality + Health
. I arrived early because this was my first spa experience and I wanted to soak it all in. I was greeted by friendly staff members and shown where I could relax in the women’s lounge. The smell, the music and the lighting was everything I had pictured a spa experience would be. I opted for the HydroPeptide Facial. This facial increases brightness, tones and delivers a supreme level of hydration. I felt like a new woman afterwards.
Stay tuned later this week & I will share with you our two days spent at the OH Pool!
It’s true, I am heading to LV tomorrow morning with 7 of my gf’s. Follow all the details of our trip via Instagram & Twitter <3 No one does Vegas like we do!!!

“Guess who’s back? Back again. Amy’s back, tell a friend!” It’s me! I am back after a full week of a relaxing fun vacation. Dapper Fellow and I started the week by heading up north to Flagstaff, AZ for my family reunion. Most of my fam live in the midwest so I am not able to see them as much and the days went by waaaay too fast. We had so many laughs, good times and made wonderful, precious memories.

Here are a few more pics from my Mexico getaway. I think it’s safe to say we consumed every fruit possible from the beach vendors. I am still full from tortillas, ceviche, oysters, tacos and beer. I enjoyed it so much that I am already planning a trip back. See you in a few weeks Mexico…
It is only suitable that today’s outfit features another fab Hearts product! This outfit is what I wore when Dapper Fellow and I took the ferry from Alameda to SF. It was a warm day, but with the breeze it was very chilly! Perfect for this awesome Bolivia Beanie! What I love about SF is how well they do layering. They really take it to a whole new level. How do you like to layer?

Today’s look was the outfit I wore during our only cold day in San Fran. We couldn’t believe how warm it got. The weather had said high of 50’s during the time we were there, but the reality was clear skies, warm sun and no scarfs/fur needed. These photos were taken in Union Square, across the street from where we stayed. This was also the same day that Dapper Fellow floated off to Nike never never land & I ended up in a Zara cloud for hours!

Good Morning loves! Today’s look is what I wore wine tasting on our first day in SF. My best friend from college lives in Alameda and after she picked us up from the airport we headed to do an afternoon tasting. Rockwall winery is in an industrial docking area that doesn’t look like your typical vineyard. It is located on the water and the view into San Fran is so unbelievable! Dapper Fellow who isn’t even a big fan of wine tasted a few! It was a perfect afternoon!
