Sonoita, AZ

If you head 40 mins south of Tucson you will come up on these beautiful rolling hills surrounded by mountains which is Sonoita, AZ. A small town home to over a dozen vineyards. A few of my favorites are Callaghan, Flying Leap, Dos Cabezas, and Canelo Hills. Both times I have been to Sonoita it has rained just before sunset. From endless Blue skies, to storms, then rainbows and killer sunsets. sonoita wine tasting wine tasting sonoita sonoita arizona sonoita wine tasting FullSizeRender (9) IMG_1255 IMG_1252If you ever get the chance to travel Southern Arizona and visit some of these vineyards I recommend staying at the Hacienda De Sonoita. It’s a charming b&b on 40 plus acres.

Apple Annies

Although it may be October, it’s hardly Fall yet here in Arizona. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t embark on some fun Fall activities right? After some research the best Apple picking I found is in Wilcox, Arizona, at Apple Annie’s Orchard. Apple Annie’s is located about 3 hrs Southeast of Phoenix. The drive is beautiful and the apples are not running out anytime soon. apple annie orchard apple annie apple picking apple picking arizona FullSizeRender (5) where to apple pic apple picking phoenix apple pickingarizona apple pickingApple Annie’s is family owned and operated and is open until October 31st. Stay tuned later this week for some more Arizona spots you don’t want to miss this fall.
