Every girl needs a good pair of cut off shorts. No matter what the age or body type shorts are a must in the summer. It seems that every year the shorts keep getting shorter and shorter in the stores and a few years back I decided I would steer clear of them and cut old jeans to make and style my own. (I have done this to more than half of the shorts I own) Even if DIY’s aren’t your thing this is the easiest thing for anyone to do. It becomes really fun when you cut, fray and style a pair of old jeans from a thrift store because there is little to no investment, these were $7!!!!!
Levi’s are hard to find so I felt like I scored with this pair from Savers. I simply cut them and allowed them to fray naturally. I would wear them, then wash them, wear them, and wash them, even when they didn’t need to be washed I washed them because that’s what gets them frayed the fastest.

Oh hello there! Remember me? It’s been awhile friends and I am so glad to be back in the blogosphere. Just in time for Spring fashion trends with Savers. This week I will be styling several looks with different pieces I purchased from my local Savers. Savers has always been a favorite thrift store of mine. My love for thrifting began shopping at Savers in high school and continued to Vancouver when I went to college and then shopped at Value Village, their Canadian store!
Let’s talk Culottes! No, you’re not having flashbacks of your 3rd grade teacher. Culottes are back yo, or at least I like wearing them. Not something for everyone I realize, but the key thing I found when styling them is to pair them with a heel to elongate your legs. The pants speak for themselves so the rest of the outfit is simple with classic touches. My favorite piece of this look is the VINTAGE FERRAGAMO purse!!!! It was love at first sight.
