Yesterday I introduced you to the darling Ashley from The Pink Ruffle. Her leopard knotted headband is so easy to style. I have been wearing it non stop with EVERYTHING!! Headbands, wraps, scarves, and turbans are perfect for Summer because they transfer from day to night so easily.
Do you remember when I first fell in love with Shawl Dawls? Shawl Dawl’s designed pieces similar to the cream one I am wearing below. The shawl is one piece and it can be converted 13 ways!!! This one in particular is perfect as a pool cover up! Tank-BP Nordstrom, Shoes-MIA, Shorts-Forever 21, Bag-Halogen, similar, Shawl-Shawl Dawl, Headband-Pink Ruffle, Sunnies-Kate Spade
I hope you enjoy your day!

Good Luck and Happy Weekend!
The older I get the more and more I learn to invest my money into the important things rather than the quick, trendy, short lasting items. Shoes and bags will always be something I am willing to pay full price for. Most of the time I spend months if not years ooo’ing and aww’ing at a given bag/pair of shoes before purchasing them. I read reviews, ask my friends, and analyze how this purchase will fit into my closet. As someone who is always on a budget this really limits me to only a few BIG purchases a year. I would like you to meet my new friend, Jimmy Choo! I have been on the hunt for a classic, black, timeless stiletto for years and he is perfect. With the exception of my shoes and bracelets everything I am wearing today is thrifted/purchased at vintage resale stores. Blouse/Purse/Rings-Vintage, Scarf-Vintage Chanel (swooning over this one), Sunglasses-Vintage Dior (affordable version here), Necklace-Vintage Givenchy, Shoes-Jimmy Choo, Pants-Taverniti (really old, but I these are classic), Bracelets-Kate Spade/Threads/Vintage
Good Morning loves!
In case you missed it, the Met Gala Ball was last night. Each year there is a theme and a this year’s theme was: “PUNK: Chaos to Couture.” Named one of the biggest fashion night out events, this gala ALWAYS showcases some of the best dressed looks. Here are a few of my fav’s from the evening…
Cara Delevingne looked stunning in this spiked Burberry gown. I love the smokey eye makeup and fierce clutch. I am not too crazy about her hair. It looks like it doesn’t know if it should be straight or wavy and I am left thinking it just looks a bit undone. I sleek ponytail would have been a better choice to this edgy chic look. photo credit
I LOVE this Vintage Valentino number on Anne Hathaway. This gown is exquisite. I think it was very risky and brave of Anne to attempt this amazing archival piece from the very talented Valentino. Similar to Cara, I am not loving her hair. Did everyone drive to the Gala in a convertible? Photo Credit
Blake Lively doesn’t disappoint in this flawless light-green strapless Gucci number. I love the full layered skirt with feather embroidered details. Blake styled the gown with elegant Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Photo Credit
Jessica Alba is always on my best dressed list because this girl just get’s it! I ADORE this Tory Burch dress on her! I am actually still in awe that it’s Tory Burch. The cut-outs are perfectly appropriate and the gown is just perfection on her. Her high voluminous bun and her subtle bronze glow finishes off the look. Photo Credit
What were your favorites? Did you see Miley’s hair?? OH MY GOSH! If not GTS NOW! Have a great day!

Arizona has my heart. As much as I adore the other parts of the US and at times dream I was in a different place, I love it here. The desert is so unique and beautiful. I was thrilled when Heather from LA Fashion Snob wanted to participate in a desert photoshoot!!! Heather and I had a blast going to vintage markets, lunch, and shopping!! Did I mention our day started at 6am??? We had a lot of ground to cover. I also dyed my hair darker. What do you think?
