Red Suede Shoes

One of the main reasons I started this blog was to give myself an outlet where I could be creative…Putting together all of these outfits takes time yes, but I love it. I would do it all day if I could.  My love for styling isn’t limited to just my own.  I love when a friend calls or texts me questions & advice on what to wear to things.  I love dressing people up, letting them borrow items for a night and seeing them smile because it’s another way to feel beautiful.

The idea behind “Amy’s Vintage Closet” began sometime in my 20’s when I realized that even though I owned pieces similar to other people, I did not dress like most of them.  My style is a mix of thrifted/vintage items mixed with Forever 21, Nordstrom, TJ Maxx and Ebay.  In my opinion there is nothing more original than mixing of an item designed decades ago with something you recently purchased.

There are two things that I do splurge on…Can you guess which two they are??? DING DING DING…Shoes and Handbags.  :) Guilty as charged! But those two items will inevitably outlive me so they may as well be something that is extra gorgeous! May I introduce you to these red beauties designed by the ever so talented Brian Atwood!brian atwood figara brian atwood figara red bootie pump vintage elephant belt kate spade sunglasses, vintage scarf

  2. Looove this outfit! I love that the majority of the pieces are vintage but they fit you like a glove. The booties are FAB but I hope you didn’t have far to walk in them; they are so high! Lol

    • Caroline. You crack me up because you know it all so well! I had flats handy for my comfort. It is not that often that I purchase something so impractical, but these were a must! Walking thru the rocky turane isn’t that practical with 5inch booties!!! :)

  3. I love the shoes!
