This is the first year I had a few gfs over and actually made plans to watch the Oscars. It was so much fun! I was sort of surprised by the neutral colored theme of the evening. But that didn’t stop these beauties from show stopping! Here are some of my fav’s:
Love this peuter color and the cut outs are perfection on Naomi Watt’s perfect figure. Her hair looks beautiful and the entire look works so well!
Jessica stunned with her loose waves and delicate beaded gown. I don’t feel like this is a dress that would look good on many, but she looks amazing
Reese Witherspoon looks beautiful in this cobalt blue Louis Vuitton. I adore her and think she can do no wrong. She also looks like she has not aged at all! Oh and did you know she just had a baby?!
Jennifer Lawrence is so dazzling in Dior. I also love that she accidentally fell while she went to accept her award. She seems so normal. Loved her in this gown.
Is it just me or does everyone need to eat a cheeseburger? Damn Gina! I love Amanda Seyfried’s quirky personality and we all know how I feel about Mr Alexander McQueen…PERFECTION!
I think this dress was the winner for me. I LOVE this gown on Halle Berry. The futuristic structured shoulders and the low cut top flatter this gorgeous actress perfectly. She killed it!
What were your favorites of the night? I absolutely loved the Les Mis performance!
I hope you have a great day today!
I can’t believe this blog has been going for a year now. I feel so blessed by all of the encouraging, fun women I have been able to meet. I feel so fortunate that I have been able to be a part of awesome business opportunities. My heart is so full. Full of love, happiness and contentment. As a token of my gratitude I am offering a fab giveaway to one lucky reader…A pair of Halogen Cat-Eye sunnies, just in time for Spring! A ($58 Value)

Happy Friday loves!
Living in Arizona really limits my ability to take full advantage of my fur collection. This particular fur I purchased in San Fran while I was in college. It is my favorite of them all and with the chilly weather that we’ve been having I jumped to the chance to wear it. I just bought these pants and if you follow me via Instagram you will know that they’re the 1st pair of pants I have paid full price for in over 10 years!!!! They’re from Gap and called Deconstructive Always Skinny jean, but I got a size up and feel like they’re the perfect boyfriend jean. I absolutely love this new leather hat. It goes with EVERYTHING. I originally saw it on Asos, but later purchased it for half the price through Amazon.com.
*I ALWAYS do this when shopping online. 90% of the time I find something I want and end up purchasing the exact same item on Ebay or Amazon!*

Good morning loves! Is anyone else having one of those week’s that seems to be draaaaaging? I am pooped and thought it was Friday yesterday! Speaking of yesterday, I have huge news to report…IT SNOWED IN ARIZONA! Not even joking. Shiz was craaaazzzzzzeee. Here are my pics of the week via Instagram…
I ventured to my parents house on Monday to say hi to my mama who was off work. She told me to take some oranges because they had too many. I am pretty sure they could be supplying Minute Maid at this point.
I have been wearing this jacket with almost EVERYTHING lately. You may remember it from my SF trip here. Perfect because the 90’s are in full comeback mode. This outfit could easily be transformed to an evening look by dressing it up with a booty or a heel. I would also swap out the bag for a clutch and maybe change necklaces to a closer to the neckline statement piece.

One staple I believe every girl needs is an oversized grandpa cardigan. This is sometimes referred to as a boyfriend sweater as well. I like grandpa cardigan. I got this one at Goodwill for $7, but I am also a fan of perusing the Men’s section of your favorite store. Although any color will work I like to start with a neutral color. This will give you more room to mix different accessories like a hat, scarf, pair of earrings, shoes etc. I am diggin the neutrals in general lately so I kept my palet simple with browns and tans.
