One of my goals for 2013 is to enrich my brain more and I decided to do that by enrolling back into school. Not fulltime school or anything, just one class per semester. I am taking Photoshop and had my first class last night. It has been EIGHT years since I was in school. Although I was nervous it all came back to me when I was there. I always loved school and learning and it feels so good to be back and challenged in a way that I haven’t been in awhile. It put me in such a good mood that I plan on taking with me to the weekend. Here is my weekly Instagram roundup.
Loving my Michael Kors wallet wristlet and Clair Danes right now.

Wednesday, so nice to see you! We have a very busy weekend planned so I am eager to get to it! The weather has been so rainy the past few days and both Dapper Fellow and I are feeling sick. When I am sick I hate getting dressed so my wardrobe has stayed true to form…casual. I have noticed that I am unintentionally juxtaposing all the time these days!!! The pastel checkered shirt mixed with the spiked accessories and boots add an edge to an otherwise preppy shirt.

Have a great day today!

Happy Tuesday loves! I received this Birchbox a few weeks ago, but with post holiday organization and catch up it got placed on the back burner. Honestly, I was disappointed by this Birchbox. I feel like my odds are good though considering I have been receiving these lovely boxes for 9 months and enjoyed every one of them, but this one.
1) LA Fresh Eco waterproof makeup remover-I honestly thing this entire line is stupid. I realize people want on the go makeup remover/face wash products, but I see absolutely NO DIFFERENCE from La fresh vs any over the counter wipe. The fresh scent is nice, but the reality of me needing multiple one time use face wash or make-up remover wipes are unrealistic.
2) Aerie Shimmer-No words for this fragrance other than we don’t need a stinkin perfume every single time we get a box!!! I have enough samples for me to NEVER buy my own perfume.
3) Embryolisse Lait-Creme-I liked this product. Very moisturizing, but didn’t make me want to purchase it in full size.
4) DDF Acne Control Treatment– I didn’t hate this treatment especially considering it came right in time for a breakout that I had. I felt like it worked and I will defs be saving this for the next time Captain Big Zit comes along!
5) Hot Mama Shadow & Blush-By far my fav from this box and the only saving grace! I received this last product from The Balm and fell in love! I already ordered this blush from Birchbox! So amazing!!!!
Have you ladies heard of Birchbox? If so What did you girls get in your boxes this month?

Good morning loves! I was so excitedly hoping that today’s post would include raves of fabulous gowns similar to the show stopping GG just a few wks ago. Seen here. However, I was less than impressed and judging by my fellow twitter friends, you all feel the same…The only saving grace from this blunder after blunder was all of this Navy bliss. I have never grown to love a color more. These ladies put it down with gorgeous blue gowns so unique from one another.
Jennifer Lawrence & Marion Cotillard-Both of these starlets are dazzling in their own blue Dior gowns. I love the slit panels on Jennifer’s mermaid style dress. They are perfectly defined for optimal elongation of her delicate frame. Marion shines in her two-toned white on top blue on bottom high low styled gown with an impecable train. The pockets add a casual sensibility to the look and suits her carefree attitude.
Amanda Seyfried-Dazzles in Zac Posen. So elegant and sophisticated with her casual waves pressed to the one side. She kept it simple with minimal makeup and jewelry. Effortlessly chic and amaze!!
I missed Jordin Sparks entirely. That was until I woke up and read Perez Hilton this am. She is beaming in this beautiful blue! She looks amazing. It looks like this Nicole Miller dress was made for her.
Another trend that I have been seeing a lot this award season is the sideways part/sideways wavy hair. It looks so effortlessly elegant and I can’t wait for a reason to give it a try. Did you have any dresses that you loved or didn’t love? Am I the only one who was semi disappointed?? Let me know!

It is only suitable that today’s outfit features another fab Hearts product! This outfit is what I wore when Dapper Fellow and I took the ferry from Alameda to SF. It was a warm day, but with the breeze it was very chilly! Perfect for this awesome Bolivia Beanie! What I love about SF is how well they do layering. They really take it to a whole new level. How do you like to layer?

Today’s look was the outfit I wore during our only cold day in San Fran. We couldn’t believe how warm it got. The weather had said high of 50’s during the time we were there, but the reality was clear skies, warm sun and no scarfs/fur needed. These photos were taken in Union Square, across the street from where we stayed. This was also the same day that Dapper Fellow floated off to Nike never never land & I ended up in a Zara cloud for hours!

Good Morning loves! Today’s look is what I wore wine tasting on our first day in SF. My best friend from college lives in Alameda and after she picked us up from the airport we headed to do an afternoon tasting. Rockwall winery is in an industrial docking area that doesn’t look like your typical vineyard. It is located on the water and the view into San Fran is so unbelievable! Dapper Fellow who isn’t even a big fan of wine tasted a few! It was a perfect afternoon!

Good Afternoon my loves! Today was my first day back to work from Dapper Fellow and I’s SF getaway. We had an incredible time, ate amazing food and visited with friends. I was able to set up my posts last week before I left town and it feels weird blogging for the first time in a week. Today’s look are pieces from my Zara haul. The entire store was on sale and I went a little cray. All such good deals though. I cannot wait until the day Phoenix gets a Zara. Stay tuned the rest of this week for more SF outfits! I have a lot of catching up to do, but I wanted to give you all a HUGE thanks for the large response for my Hearts Giveaway! I will be announcing the winner this Friday 1/25/13! Enter here! If you haven’t already!

I got a haircut this week and although I feel that I am missing those 2 inches I realize it will grow and look better than ever. I love winter whites/pinks! Winter seems to bring out all the bold reds, greens, blues, and pinks, in everyone which I admittedly love. But I also feel like there’s something special about a soft pink, or off white during winter that makes me especially happy
