I am really digging fabric mixing lately. I love the idea of something feminine and dainty mixed with something bold. That’s where the idea for this outfit came from.

How amaze are these shoes and soooo comfortable. I have a feeling these are going to be a summer staple for me.
Happy Hump day lovelies!
Orange, Pink and Peach sorbet screams summer to me. I love to wear bright hues of any color, but these three are just perfection. This outfit is perfect for lunch, running errands, or shopping with your girlfriends. Very comfortable and easy, especially for people in the valley of the sun where heat is an issue.
I love and hate this bag for the same reason, it is HUGE. Carries a lot, but I can never find anything. Haha. It is perfect for me at work because I have to fit a lot inside my bag and it still looks cute. I often take it on weekend trips as well.

This weekend my mama and I went to a local farmer’s market. I am so excited that Phoenix is getting on board with supporting local growers. It is such a fun addition to the weekend. We were blessed with AMAZING weather here in the valley. It was 80 degrees on Saturday and 90 degrees on Sunday. Such a nice break from the icky 109 degree heat during the week. Perfect for BBQ’s and the pool!

Hope you all had a FUN and safe Memorial Day Weekend!
Friday! Ahhhh we made it loves. I am sure you all have lots of fun things planned for the weekend. I cannot wait for work to be finished to let the family time and bbq’s begin! This outfit was inspired when I moved this week and re-discovered these great leather shorts. I got them on sale at Urban Outfitters for $9.99 last year in San Diego. If you couldn’t tell already I always like to dress vintage casual with spice. This t-shirt was my dads in the 70’s and I cut the V. It is one of those shirts that is soooo soft it is almost see through in some places. I like the simplicity of it combined with all the other pieces of the look.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend ya’ll!
In college my girlfriend’s and I would call today “Werk-it Wednesday’s”-referring to a short day of classes and a fun night out. Funny how that day no longer holds the same meaning and yet how happy I am that I am not 22 anymore. Nowadays, Wednesday is my longest day at work. When I get dressed I aim for complete comfort. It is no secret that a maxi is a girl’s go-to in the summer and it is perfect to throw on in a hurry. Considering the status of my fro today I opted to pair it with my vintage turban to cover the locks. (Scored this one at a hat consignment store in Ocean Beach)

I got back from Vegas late Sunday night. I went there with my boyfriend’s family in celebration of his sister, Janel’s birthday. It was a very fun filled wkd with family and friends.
I am currently moving in with my Dapper Fellow so things have been quite busy around here. We moved most of the day, in 109degree heat…Oh ya, sounds amazing doesn’t it?! Tonight we spent a much overdue dinner at my parents house. Here is a recap of our LV trip…
Cheers to the birthday girl1st night <3

Ok, ok I know what you’re thinking…denim on denim? CRIME! Did someone say Canadian Tuxedo? No, but really ladies I admittedly wore this denim on denim outfit today because I was seriously inspired from fellow bloggers. As a girl who went to college in Canada I have been weary to exemplify this look, but let me tell you…I am sort of diggin on it. I don’t know what do you think?
